The house is located in the village of Zahara de la Sierra, in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain.
By car, it is approximately a 30-minute drive to Ronda and about 1 hour and 20 minutes to Seville and Jerez de la Frontera.
The village is a member of the official association Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España (“The Most Beautiful Villages of Spain”) and is also part of the famous Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos — the Route of the White Villages of Andalusia, one of the most scenic tourist routes in southern Spain.
Zahara de la Sierra is located within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a paradise for hiking and long walks, offering routes of varying lengths and difficulty levels. Adventure seekers can also descend into the gorge with professional equipment and certified instructors.
At the foot of the mountain on which the village stands lies the picturesque Zahara–El Gastor reservoir, a popular spot for swimming, kayaking, and enjoying nature.
